Astro Boy

Astro Boy was the first Japanese cartoon. It is about a robot boy that saves Metro city.

Astro Boy was made approximately in 1963.

He lives in Metro-city, floating in the sky city in the future.

Arter that there was a re-creation of the cartoon in more or less 1981.

Astro Boy (Also known as Astro) contains a source inside his mechanic body a substance that is called the positive blue energy that is stronger and infinitely cleaner than the atomic energy.

The opposite of the blue positive energy is the red negative energy that has unknown effects.

The story is like this: Dr. Tenma had a 13 year old Boy called Tobi, he loved science and so went without his dad seeing to the ministry of science.

There they tested the red negative energy on a robot that turned Tobi into nothingness. Only his hat and a part of his hair was left. Dr. Tenma used the DNA of the hair to have Tobi's memories in the robot he was going to make.

He put the positive blue energy in it an the robot was done. Tenma thinks that the robot was useless and discarded him like and old battery.

In 2010 there was an american film based on Astro's first series.
